First foldable pc - Lenovo brings the world's first foldable PC
Lenovo, one of the world's
largest technology companies have recently launched the world's first foldable
PC, the ThinkPad X1. Featuring a split-screen display feature, this portable device is capable of performing all the basic and advanced functions offered
from a PC.
The One Fold can be used with
laptops, tablets, split screens, or large displays. New additions to Lenovo's
ThinkPad includes built-in Think Shield security solutions powered by Intel®
Core 7 processors. Weighing less than one kilogram, the device has a 13.3-inch
Crystal display folding LED screen.
The device comes with a Lenovo
easel stand that allows it to be easily placed on the desk, either vertically
or horizontally. At the same time, Xwan Fold's built-in Dolby Access app can
mimic the 3D sound. This allows users to sort the sound of their choice through
different sound profiles.
Naveen Kejriwal, Lenovo India's
Head of Overseas Sales, said, "With the ThinkPad X1 Fold, we aim to give
our customers a foldable screen experience for the first time on their PCs.
This device is designed for people who are constantly looking for new
technologies and possibilities and often switch between phones, tablets and
laptops.
With the advent of the current
hybrid working world, we are noticing that most people are looking for the
benefits of laptops without having to carry a laptop to get real mobility.
Our Ultra-Lite and Ultra-Mobile One-Fold was created keeping in mind this demand of the customer, which encourages us to create foldable PCs. This new technology will allow people to work anywhere, including home and office. ”
