Google's Android Auto Phone app is closing
The easiest and latest service to access the phone
through the car dashboard is 'Android Auto'. With this app, you can easily
access Google Maps, music apps, and data without using the phone. However, this
widely used app is being discontinued.
For the past few years, Google has been offering the
experience of Android Auto directly from the phone. Especially those who do not
have a proper dashboard unit, so you can easily take the service of Android
Auto through the phone. Recently, Google was working on 'Assistant Driving
Mode'. Although late, this model was unveiled earlier this year.
In this time, Google has finished working on Google Assistant Driving Mode. So, Google is closing the app so as not to bother with additional apps. Apparently, this app cannot be used on Android 12 powered phones. Users will get all the services of the app through Assistant Driving Mode.
"Our next innovation in the mobile phone driving experience
is the Google Assistant driving mode," Google said in a statement. Those
who are already using cars with Android Auto support will not be deprived of
the experience of this app (Application Software). Automobile app users will get the service
converted to Google Assistant Driving mode. And users will get Google Assistant
Driving Mode from Android 12 as a built-in mobile driving service.
